Last week-end, the crew attended (along with papa W) the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra's recital
Peter and the Wolf holds great memories for me; My father read the story to my brother and I faithfully throughout our childhood. My great grandparents were Germans from Russia, where the original story was set. As a cellist in high school, we annually played the musical score of Peter and the Wolf.
Although I was disenchanted that they modernized the story, the music was simply beautiful, and captivated two very active boys.

Oh, I love Peter and the wolf....
The boys do truly look fascinated in the pictures. That is really adorable.
The quote on music is soooo true! I loved that.
How fun; I bet the boys had fun (even Sol with Grandma!).
