9 months...

{in pictures}

{bros had to get in on the action}

{and she loved it}

You:
* Smile, you love to smile, you smile with your eyes and it lights up the room*
* Love just sitting and watching your brothers play*
* Have the best girly giggle*
*Talk with your hands and feet simultaneously*
*Love to eat {you got the hang of it and truly took of! :)}*
*Are wanting to crawl, but happy to just sit and smile*

We continually pray that you '... grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,' little one.

We love you so, so much our sweet and gentle Nora.
So thankful for each and every 274 days with you. So. thankful.

Minus the Technicolor Dreamcoat

As mentioned before, this year's Vacation Bible School's theme was 'Egypt,' and our very own cowboy played 'Joseph.' The older boys were able to attend, and the two babes and I were able to visit 'Egypt' one evening:

A BIG 'thank you' for all the people who made VBS so special.
All my older boys enjoyed their time in 'Egypt'.

...But Joseph said to them, "Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
{Genesis 50: 18-20}

Mohawk Monday

A couple of weeks ago the cowboy shaved his head to play 'Joseph' for the church's Vacation Bible School's 'Egypt' theme. {Pictures to come soon} The boys wanted their head shaved too, like dad's {I just couldn't let Sol, I can't let go of those curls, can. not.do.it. he was a good sport about it} While cleaning up dinner, the cowboy told me he was going outside to cut the boy's hair. I opened the door to find..this...

Rawk'en the Hawk

Liking it
Only a face like that could pull if off...

{No mom, we did not leave it like that}

Both the older boys were soon clean shaven.
{Someday Sol, maybe some day}

All ready for this heat and humidity we are having.

This 'Mohawk Monday,' seems like just yesterday.

Baby Landry

Just a few short weeks ago we were celebrating {a soon-to-be babe} at the baby shower of one my oldest and dearest friends, Katie.
{Known to the boys as 'Friend Katie'}

Just a few short days ago, Katie and her husband Tim {'Friend Tim'}
welcomed their daughter into the world..

Welcome Miss Landry Sinclair...
{isn't she beautiful?!}

Nora and I headed up to the big city today to meet this sweet pumpkin.

The ladies meet
{They will be precious friends too, I'm sure of it..}

A beautiful mama and her beautiful girl

So, so sweet. So, so precious.
{Such a chill babe}

Nora is truly excited about her new friend...

Thank you 'Friend Katie' for letting us hang out and love on Landry.
We cannot wait to watch you grow in grace and knowledge sweet girl.
We love you all.

A bit..

O-Color

{Again, feel free to skip this post if walls and random cabinets don't enthrall you}

We are coming along on the painting of the house bid'ness.
Some people asked for pictures.
Here they be.

We still have a LONG way to go, we are still needing to paint the rest of the rooms and get the trim painted and up. {Also, flooring and whatnot} Things are so {crazy} busy right now and this house gig gets a wee bit overwhelming at times. But we are thankful.

A day at a time. Bit by bit....
Thankful.
