4th fun.

We had a wonderful 4th of July celebration with our Missouri friends Ryan and Becky and their beautiful little ladies. It rained most of the evening so we were stuck inside the little homestead for a bit. When the rain let up, we were ready for explosives.

Shep's ready for the show

Ryan was our master of ceremonies

The whole crew ready for the show
{minus two sleeping ladies}

A crazy bunch these ones

But ohhhh so fun

And it begins...

Excitement

A nail bitter
A bit noisy

Lighting up our little corner of the world...

A snack break

No little piece would do

Watermelon all around

A good time

Thank you sweet family for hanging out. Always, always a good time.

"You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism. "

You captured your family memory so well, Kathy!

I especially love the watermelon picture. This is what summer is supposed to be about!

Enjoy your day- Hollie
