No place like home...

for the holidays...

This was a our first Christmas in the new house on the homestead.

It was lovely.

We spent the morning eating waffles, reading the account of the Christmas story and opening gifts.

A little gift action

Little lady was really able to enjoy it this year.
And we enjoyed watching her.

Sol and his new tractor

Shep dig'en his farm set

Dad opening his gift

Uncle Dave and Aunt Darcy will go down as the coolest uncle and aunt {ever} in history.
They got the crew scooters.

They were a tremendous hit.
They were enjoyed by everybody....

And I do mean...

...everybody.

We spent the rest of the morning playing and relaxing...

and painting...

It was wonderful.

A memory stored up in my heart...

The we headed off to Kansas for another family celebration.

Thankful for a reason to have hope.
Thankful for every good and perfect gift.

So thankful

One of my favorite things about this blog is that I know that, whenever I come here, I am leaving with a smile.

I am doing just that again today!

Priceless, wonderful memories. For sure.

And those scooters are making a few little boys in Illinois very green-eyed.

:)

We have those scooters here too and LOVE them! Cole tends to make me a little nervous with his no fear zooming down the drive into the cul-de-sac :) Looks like fun had by all! Love all the kiddos smiles and Ms. Nora is PRECIOUS!!!
