Life

{in bullet points}

  • I'm really starting to enjoy our new house. It's taken a while to feel like I'm not staying at someone's house. It feels like home. The stains and the {already} chipped paint on the walls are helping with that.
  • If I could choose one snack to eat forever it would be Rasinets.
  • I'm loosing my blogging mojo. I'm not sure if I want the blog to be more than a glorified scrapbook.
  • The cowboy has been home {like home, inside the home} for most of the past week and it's been wonderful. I cannot tell you when that has ever happened. So thankful.
  • We finally celebrated Sol's birthday Saturday {pictures to come soon} and had a great time.
  • Loving this song lately:

  • Unreal excited to head out with the little lady to Utah to see {hold and love on} our new nephew and see our family soon. So excited.
  • Does every homeschool mom feel like they're not doing enough?
  • The list of books I want to read are out of control. Too many good books out there.
  • If I had one super power it would be to not need any sleep. {Or world domination, not sure which one}
  • I'm wrestling through my opinion on the situation in Egypt. Would love to hear thoughts on it.
  • I'm done with winter.
  • One of my favorite posts this week.
  • After 4 attempts at training for it. {I'll give you 4 reasons why they're 'attempts'} I'm finally running {when I say 'running,' I mean a form of forward motion movement} the half marathon in May.
  • If you're reading this and you comment and I don't comment back, please know I want to. I'm the worst at interacting on the interwebby. Need.to.do.better. Thankful you're here.
  • I love comfort. I fear wasting my life in order to seek it. I feel myself slipping.
  • Even though we don't get TV channels on the homestead, this could potentially be my new favorite show:

  • We had a huge snow last week {thankful the cowboy was home} One of the nights the power went out. We had to camp on the floor. All together. And despite the fact I thought we'd have to melt snow for water {our water is run by a pump = electricity} it will go down as one of my favorite memories. I love my family.
  • I played tennis in college. I really miss playing tennis.
  • Praying {praying, praying} for this sweet little girl and her family.
  • I'm speaking at our MOPS group this Tuesday, on marriage. Thankfully it's more of a book review as I have no bid'ness speaking authoritatively. Prayers appreciated.
  • Is 9:30 too late for another cup of coffee? I hope not...

First of all, I find this one hard to believe: I'm the worst at interacting on the interwebby. Need.to.do.better.

You are like, the only person I've come to know from across the web and yet feel like you're almost a sister...

2. So glad you had fun camping out without power - you truly were "snowed in" as we pretended to be!

3. You go, girl! on the whole 1/2 marathon thing. You can do it!!

seriously, love reading about your life on the homestead :) you definitely make my heart smile! I am so amazed how God brings people together...we don't have many things in common but I feel so drawn to read about your life, pray for you, etc. Thank you for giving me a chuckle today and a smile! Much love to you all on the homestead...stay warm :)

I dare you to respond to this comment. Okay, double dare.

Love you ladies! Seriously.

Randi, so awesome you're doing er' too! Miss having you at MOPS. I totally didn't connect that you would be moving groups. Hope you're adjusting well to the new one.

Oh Nicole, so true. So very true. There's always something a mama feels they should be doing. Love me some Ray. Love to you.

Angie, so back at you girl. You are a blessing. For and for real. Love to you.

Kara, so back at you sistafriend. Your comments always make me smile.

Oh man thank you Jen! How are feeling mama?

Lorrie, I commented! I dare say, I commented! I meet your challenge with a vengeance. :o) I was actually going to call you out on the blog and let people know how excited I am to finally meet you {and how awesome you are} but I wanted to give you a chance to still claim you didn't know this weird lady. ;o) AND of course Noble fell in love with you, of course, who wouldn't. But he hasn't met his aunt Kathy yet. Just say'en. ;o)

Is this like the longest comment in the history of the world?!?
