the pattern is full..
{name that movie}
Last week we headed to the The Strategic Air & Space Museum.
The SAC museum offers classes for kids who are home-educated.
We took advantage.
All ready to head in.
These future pilots are excited.
Taking a look around.
{Always look up they told us}
Shep, trying his hand at flying.
Listening and learning about states of matter.
Making our own matter ecosystem.
Learning about stars and constellations in the planetarium
Getting some hands on experience with meteorites.
Actual meteorites. That fell. From space.
These fell....FROM SPACE.
Shep seeing if they're edible.
{They aren't if you're wondering}
A sliver of a meteorite rock
Taking a ride in the flight simulator
{Note how thrilled Sam looks, I made him go with his brother, not happy}
Sam ended up loving it for the record. They both did.
In and out of every plane possible.
A really great experience.
One we will experience again.

“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”
