Critters

One of the biggest adjustments for me to farm life (among many) was the plethora of animals one encounters. Admittedly I didn't grow up with animals, or an affinity for them. Suffice it to say, I'm not very good with them...but the boys help me....and I'm trying...

This week's find was a little bunny rabbit. This poor little bug apparently got separated from mom. The boys decided to take care of it until they could get it back with its mama.

The little bug

A team huddle around the critter.

A little snack and safe keeping until we can get the babe with its mama....

Good work boys. Your compassion for animals teaches me volumes....

Tristan has yet to want to bring any animal (or other critter) home yet. I'm waiting for that day....for now, he does love to squish ants!

I can tell you that the animal issue is on I can truly relate to. I am not fond of them. I'm okay with dogs, cats, fish, and even bunnies...its the creepy crawling flying ones that can send me into a spiral! Hope all is well & the summer is being kind to you. Looking forward to the next update on the house and the pregnancy. Sending love!!
